Strollin'

The train announces it's on the track,
the ceiling fan's arrested.
The loons fly out from Resound Lake,
the racoon sits dejected.

Went swimming twice today dove in
at noon and in the evening.
Looked to the point, across the bay,
absorbed the brisk appeasement.

5 candles sit upon the hearth,
4 logs awaiting flame.
The garbage spread out through the woods,
the bear's been back again.

Now I'm on a couch laid back
and now I'm watching Star Trek.
Now turning to see what made that sound,
now eyeing chips and card decks.

Too much sun throughout the day
coalesces psychic strata.
Radiating tastes that save
provisions, trips and data.
