Lakeside

A bass swims passed her former nest,
a great blue heron glides, inspects;
blackbirds splayfully descend,
resembling, an ursine trend.

Flights make sounds sans observation,
crackling inner contemplations,
chortling jocose robust tricksters
trace a song's pastoral picture.

Reflections slowly take the shape
of their holistic object's gait
as elements randomly form
a still life's incandescent swarm;

And Nature's diverse sprightly hum
presents them all in unison,
as features merge to stow away
impressions of an autumn's day.
