yellow exhales ridicule
in green’s exacting crucible
the spool in/delicately twining
seasoned calisthenic bindings
gentle tethered lullabies
contract the undulating spies
surmised she did so long ago
within St. Laurent’s ebb and flow
prophetic quaint vicissitudes
enrapturing both sage and rube
in passing by along the way
I spotted existential shades
a modern classical expanding
multicultural commanding
chippy scampers by with soul
while blue jay recites mantras droll
the bobcat’s spry resuscitation
energizes woodland salience
speech, a speech, I’ve heard a few,
can write them bold ‘bout me and you,
so many voices materialized
to spiritually impact the skies
