And if there ever was a post-Deathly Hallows elected politician who more closely resembled Voldemort than Donald Trump I can't recall his or her name, and if there isn’t a creative literary mind who more closely resembles Hermione Granger than J. K. Rowling I’m at a loss to explain precisely why, but what I can’t comprehend, no matter how often the question occurs to me, is why generations of young adults who grew up reading Harry Potter found themselves pursuing death eater ambitions upon entering what is so oft referred to as a clear professional state of maturation, complete with responsibilities that keep one honest and goals that nurture healthy states of mind, rather than continuing to move forward with peaceful global objectives that scientifically tend to environments while ethically reflecting upon civil society, and raising families that respect leaders who respect both the truth and everyone within their communities, not only those who voted for them, not only those whose faith is blind?
