Small town mayors may not make great presidents, but writing a film script where a local guy or gal suddenly find themselves managing a big business can be huge at the box office. 

It could be a comedy where someone learns to work with a situation that's over their head, or it could present a big business working within bucolic means (the film showcases a big business with worldly issues but everything is boiled down to a less intricate level [why the Die Hard films are so successful]).
