Nadja

The haunting menacing Count Dracula finally succumbs to moribund distaste, as the vampire hunter Van Helsing drives a stake through his blinding pumper.

Never enchanted with relationships there once was a girl for whom he longed, who bore him twins before she died effectively breaking his heart forever.

The baby girl, his little Nadja, grows up loyal to their ways, and lives the life of a famished vampire curiously wandering the globe.

Like Dracula's epochal aristocracy, she seeks to remain with her carnal family, trusting no one like ye olde Claudius besides her noble vampire blood.

Her modest twin, on the other hand, disdainfully examines himself with contempt, and sees the feasting on feverish blood as sick and disreputable as would humanity.

Trying to waste away through bleak starvation his sister attempts to save his life, with revitalizing blood taken from shark embryos which she feels he'll find much less unpleasant.

Having also turned Van Helsing's nephew's wife into an undead slave (she was bored), he comes a critically a' calling and finds his step-sister nursing Nadja's bro.

Nadja longing to live as husband and wife with her forlorn twin.

Strikes a blind oblivious bargain.

With her secret vampire powers.

How to live the life of the undead and depressingly never see the sun, living for eons in the dark while trusty humanity boldly slumbers.

Not that there wouldn't be features thought to be cool according to legend, transforming into bats or wolves no doubt a compelling characteristic.

Crazy mind games shifting through walls loyal friends eternal consciousness, strange powers to blend and develop over millions of illusory fashions.

But the sun and the active life it gives to billions of spirited creatures, can't simply be given up for something as trendy as immortality.

Nadja suggests that the afterlife may already be what we experience on Earth.

Reincarnation thereby taken into account.

Meaning everyone lives for manifold eternities.

And then some.
