Doctor Dolittle

Interspecies communication does still at times remain mysterious, wilderness whimsy and domestic thrills elusively cloaked in restrained viscosity.

Observation as opposed to communication may lead to less accusations of eccentricity, as people less familiar with the natural world inadvertently gaze with nostalgic wonder.

Food and shelter, warmth and comfort, still effectively govern so much animal life, with a steady supply of tasty treats so many wild creatures no doubt relax.

Not to the point of close interactions, should you be seen they'll likely retreat, unless they become crazy accustomed to your presence and learn to trust you through acts of goodwill (no word of a lie, a squirrel just jumped on my head! [crazy! {then scampered away}]).

A raccoon was crossing a road in front of me so I took some hasty opaque photos, before I decided to squeak or make a noise that suddenly startled him, so he ran up a tree.

Then I got some good photos as he turned to inspect what had made the sound, although he didn't remain still for very long, and I didn't get as many as I was hoping.

There's a special melody when I whistle when I'm swimming that this year I've adapted to function as bird song, and I whistle it whenever out and about with the unacknowledged guidance of improvised tender.

It is amazing how much the animals really love their wilderness home, you see a lot of them on nature shows, the injured animals delicately taken care of by concerned staff and dedicated doctors, before being released back into the wild, where they dart off at lightning speed.

It is nice to have your own place to freely return to after work, with your routine and your habitual ways hardly ever criticized as you do this and that.

The ocean must prodigiously function like a limitless migratory freeway, where whales and dolphins can actively chill as days go by from year to year.

Do they think we're angels?

I must admit, I think they do.

There's something about the look in their eyes.

Like spiritual ecstasy.

Foaming and frothing.

Embargo

A lot of the time nothing happens, it's just another pit stop on random travels through remote deep space.

Not that a special still isn't prepared with intergalactic creative agency, the spices and flavours universally attuned to sociointerplanetary blends.

Some courageous voyagers intermittently get stuck from time to time, and elaborately engage in improvised storytelling with neither point nor plan nor passion.

Others are predictably happy since they know a meal will be provided, and they'll see familiar faces, and casually observe the fractious horseplay.

Never to be overstated with cold calculating brevity, the habitual mélange of success and struggles encouraging mischief if subtly displayed.

There is naturally the gallant explorer who likes to keep in touch with everyone, and smoothly offers his freeform hand with sincere friendship when they meet.

Recklessly juxtaposed with morose envy which can't get along with anyone drifting onboard.

Factions wondering how they'll interact.

As the political climate ebbs and flows.

The featured characters would have seemed less impressive if they hadn't been imaginatively endowed, with curious examples from different planets graciously spread throughout the galaxy.

Teaching others traditional means and orthodox methods of entertaining, playfully leads to animate constructs independently achieved through clashing customs.

Relevant enough to any spaceport individualistically thriving off planet, while embracing collective distinction through subjective artifice and lucid transmission.

Introducing new characters mid-film can be a risky venture, but lightening the mood with Andromedan tenure helped further build the antagonistic crescendo.

Steadfast solar bemused credentials.

Mixed with resolute indifference.

Nothing too fancy,  light interstellar luxuries.

Embargo snatches up novelties.

With longlasting themes.

Greatly saddened by the passing of Jane Goodall, so gifted in naturalistic diplomacy.

Zeus & Roxanne

A family's adventurous dog boldly sets out to discover the neighbourhood, spending time at the calm peaceful beach and chasing cats should they manifest themselves.

His owners take the arts seriously and spend most of their free time engaged, dad writing songs for commercial media while his son photographs whatever he can.

They're vacationing in a rented house across the laidback street from a marine biologist, who's trying to encourage a domesticated dolphin to cohesively rejoin a wild pod at sea.

The dog mischievously follows her one day and even boards her seafaring vessel, where that very same convalescing dolphin serendipitously takes a shine to his daring.

They become friends and their innocent curiosity freely demonstrates interspecies communication, the marine biologist's related grant proposal hoping to study the compelling phenomenon.

But will dolphin and dog also lay the foundation for a long-lasting humanoid relationship?

Arts & Science zoologically orchestrating.

The chillaxed romantic life.

Animals clearly have built in recognition and know when they're interacting with other members of the same species, and they do so without mirrors or schools it's fruitfully learned in the forest or valley.

They also largely stick to themselves although you see modest interspecies contact at times, notably when food is abundant and everyone's relaxed and less stressed accordingly.

On the African savannah wildebeest, zebras, water buffalo and gazelles, broadly mingle and affably interact as the seasons change and the migration flows for instance.

I firmly believe interspecies communication is possible under the right accommodating conditions, if the animals are brought up together as babies in a loving environment with lots of food.

Even cats and dogs perhaps seals and penguins can learn to trust one another under such circumstances, as my pet bunny and his friend the guinea pig learned to do so many years ago.

This strategy will likely work more effectively when less testosterone is worked into the mix.

Wild bulls so likely to struggle and fight.

Like the rabbit my dad threw over the fence when I was a child (he was a really mean bunny).

Storm Boy

An ominous board meeting looms for the former director of a prosperous company, which may result in the industrialization of large verdant swathes of Western Australia.

He's more or less retired and not that concerned with business as of late, his son leading the woebegone way to widespread inanimate environmental degradation.

His granddaughter is quite concerned though and at irascible odds with her dismissive father, and as granddad listens to her passionate criticisms his mind begins to impressionably sway.

He begins telling an old school tale of his unorthodox childhood isolated on a beach, where he grew up with his father and three pelicans and a local friendly Indigenous neighbour.

The tale, much like the original, follows young Kingley as he raises the pelicans, his father and friend warm and pleasantly accommodating throughout the non-traditional animal husbandry.

The birds are an active lot whose jaunty forthright exuberant instincts, lead to the acquisition of thousands of pounds of increasingly larger delicious fresh fish.

Unfortunately, bird hunters are near who outrageously kill just to have deranged fun.

But as he trains them they thoughtfully respond.

And a bird sanctuary may be on its way! 🐦

Plus the deal to alarmingly pollute so much vital Australian land, is suddenly challenged by the swift reemergence of a caring activist and his granddaughter.

It's a heartwarming familial account of the spectacular bonds forged between different species, and the ways in which so many animals can forge lifelong ties with us if raised from birth.

Look to the energetic Moo Deng who recently captured the world's attention, or at manifold other online videos delicately telling similar stories.

Not just when humans are involved, one video depicts a leopard raised by a cow, who still returns to visit her years later, intense congenial interactive love!

I didn't think this version of Storm Boy would be like a reimagining of the original, which I strongly encourage curious peeps to synchronously check out if you've got time.

The new version's good, don't get me wrong, but the original shouldn't be overlooked by any means.

It's much more independent and ingeniously realized a genuine masterpiece to be widely shared.

Have any scientists or casual observers ever noticed ants or bees separated from their colonies as if they're engaged in research? Could they possibly be in charge of finding ways to communicate with other species? Or concentrating intently on artistic production?

I haven't observed them often enough to put forth an hypothesis.

I only mention this because our species are similar inasmuch as we're generally organized in large groups who consistently work in accordance with regulations.
