Titanic

I was just watching the end of James Cameron's Titanic for the first time and was struck by the musicians playing one last gig as the boat sinks. If I had been on that boat and possessed exactly the same disposition which I do now, I think I would have stopped everything and listened to the show while writing a poem (unless someone required assistance with lowering boats or something). When the performance finished, I would have then dove head first into the Atlantic with the hope of being rescued by a whale traveling towards Greenland along the surface (and carrying a waterproof subzero sleeping bag and a glass of hot coco). The whale would have either been named Whaley, George, or Marsha.
