It seems that Hollywood is intent on remaking classic films regularly, films that probably shouldn't be remade because the original was so well done.
But I suppose really, why not?
How many versions of Hamlet are out there? They've been remaking Hamlet for centuries.
Why not remake John Carpenter's Big Trouble in Little China at least once?
Get Takashi Miike to direct.
And have Channing Tatum play Jack Burton; Kurt Russell at his best.
It could work.
