I've heard that China's investing heavily in soccer in the hopes of contending competitively on the international stage.
That's fantastic.
To consistently compete for the coveted World Cup is something few nations can boast, and with China's vast resources, it's possible it could one day be one of those nations.
But why stop there?
If hoping to develop a world class soccer program, why shouldn't China take its ambition one step further, and create its own North American football league?
It's one thing to compete for international soccer glory every four years, but trying to defeat reigning Super Bowl and Grey Cup champions every year?
That would be incredible.
But next to impossible! ;)
Developing both leagues simultaneously?
That's too much unabridged awesome.
Full-on global excursions.
Indubitably so.
