I think cooking's probably the most challenging and undervalued art.
You have to constantly reinvent yourself within short time frames and insure that multiple components are perfectly prepared and blended to be judged in real time every day.
While managing a diverse resilient team and ensuring everyone's on the ball.
Without the accolades that go with being a famous musician/film star/painter/. . .
Artists working in different disciplines have more time to create and don't have to deal with nearly as much pressure.
I recommend raising a glass to cooks out there around the globe.
Are there museums that celebrate culinary history?
And hire contemporary chefs to manage their kitchens?
