I was tempted to see Tim Burton's new Dumbo because I usually see everything he directs, and the cast looked fantastic.

But I've signed numerous petitions attempting to ease the burden of wildlife stuck performing in circuses etc., and felt that I should therefore probably skip the new Dumbo remake.

Perhaps in the end there's a semblance of a movement to stop circuses from using wild animals in their acts, as Dumbo flies away or something, but it didn't seem worth spending the time and effort for a mere 50/50 possibility.

Had to miss Dumbo, I'm afraid.

Again, what's with all the Tim Burton remakes?
