Can't say I was that heavily invested in the NHL finals this year, but to be fair, Carolina has been really close for the last four years, so it's cool to see them finally win (again). Distressing that they had to beat a Montréal team that I was really hoping would win, but still cool that they didn't lose to Vegas, since the Golden Knights had won in the finals recently, and the Hurricanes had also built a consistent playoff contender.  Good on ya!

Sad that Edmonton didn't win.

I was thinking about how the Red Sox didn't win the World Series for like forever, and then they overcame a 3-0 hole to beat the Yankees and then win their first World Series since 1918.

Amazing for long suffering Florida Panthers fans. I remember when they made their cup run in 95/96. Didn't think it would take so long to win another playoff series!

I've also heard that the Toronto Maple Leafs are considering moving to Saskatoon where it's thought they may win a playoff series at some point in the next decade. I only heard that while making it up in my head.
