Practical

The practical/theoretical divide has many manifestations. Certainly it is practical to be able to efficiently hammer in nails, and theoretical to be able to design the building requiring those nails. At the same time, when it comes to 'uniformly' understanding the subtle details worked into a comprehensive philosophy through the lens of a particular set of politico-ethical viewpoints, you require practical theories supported in theory by communities of practice to reify a version of the genius's insights, in order to practically hammer home an intellectual theory.
