Unwind

The birds and squirrels chirp or scamper
entranced by her nutritious candour
early morning snacks delight
their youthful luminescent sights

I like to sit and watch them jockey
Nature's existential hockey
bury chomp deke out to nibble
while I ponder what to scribble

tough to earn your daily bread
within the urban concrete spread
though everyone still finds the time
to cherish moments this sublime

in rhyme.
