Springle

I was unaware and unsuspecting,
on my left she's nimbly nesting,
straight ahead my gaze was perched
though I could detect a smirk

alert the staunch peripheral
attuned in daze my paunch in curls
it seemed my look had caught her eye
and she was focused on my spry

confided grin nuanced with blush
fermented freckled fancied shush
a flush frenetic sultry wave
appeared in epileptic faze

my way?, thought I, and turned my head,
a smile, sirenic suffragette,
no one else seemed to reflect it,
corny bloom bashful perspective

inspected.
