Sometimes I think the system is too large and out of control to be generally monitored efficiently, there are just too many variables that keep rapidly expanding and mutating due to globalization. It's not that it's broken, although aspects are in need of repair, but more that it's so vast and incomprehensible, even to leading minds, who often disagree with one another, that seeking to cultivate a safe path within it, as opposed to breaking it down or imposing strict controls, seems to me, like the most productive option.
