Super Bowl Pick

Kansas City Chiefs/Tampa Bay Buccaneers: the Chiefs looked incredible two weekends ago as they advanced to the coveted Super Bowl. Buffalo assailed them with pure defiance but they held strong and vanquished true. Which was a shame, really, I was hoping Buffalo would win, and then defeat Brady in the Super Bowl. It would have been so classic to see him face the rivals he oft defeated once more, this time playing for the championship, Buffalo somehow emerging victorious. Another year perhaps, Brady doesn't seem like he's slowing down, and he's had such a great effect on the Buccaneers team. I thought it would have been tough for them to make the playoffs when Brady announced he was playing in Tampa. Lo and behold, they made the Super Bowl. They overcame Green Bay (I'm surprised they didn't go for it on fourth late in the game [don't give the ball back to Mahomes late in the fourth 😌]) and New Orleans both of whom had better records, both of whom were playing at home, both of whom have outstanding quarterbacks of their own. And Washington's Heinicke put up quite the fight too. But Brady and the Bucs found a way. Brady's 43. How does he even keep playing? Perhaps a lesson to young quarterbacks not to run with the ball so much throughout their careers, even though quarterbacks who run are super exciting, and so difficult for defences to contain. I hope Josh Allen and the Bills are back in the playoffs next year. Buffalo seemed like they were just getting started. Tampa's defeated the Chiefs 5 of the last 6 times they've played, they did lose to them this year however, but only by a lone field goal. Brady vs. Brees, Brady vs. Rodgers, and now, Brady vs. Mahomes. In my armchair analysis, Buffalo stopped Mahomes from making deep passes, but he then proceeded to complete short ones at will regardless, so Tampa's gotta find a way to shut them down, too.  Pretty tough to do although certainly possible, not that the Bucs don't have a solid offence of their own. Picking Tampa for their second Super Bowl (Brady's 7th) win (snow removal). And can't believe I'm picking the home team!
