I think if a city decides to attach cameras to traffic lights (I don't think they're doing this in Montréal [phew]), and then take photos of people as they approach or run yellow lights, they should also ensure that the crosswalks have numbers counting down that you can see, so you can tell how much time is left before the yellow light is going to start, and adjust your driving speed accordingly.
