I've said it before, I'll probably mention it again, the whole world can't go broke, there needs to be some kind of creative accounting adjustments to help out the businesses and people affected by pandemic shutdowns, which forgive debts that have been unavoidably accumulated.

Such resolve would provide a solution to the current stand off between businesses wishing to stay open, and governments imposing lockdown orders, since the livelihoods of their owners would not be affected should they stay closed.

I'm not an accountant, I don't know how to manage such adjustments, but if the entire world's affected, debt forgiveness across the board should be possible.

Frontline healthcare workers who are risking their lives shouldn't feel awkward for suggesting people stay home to stop the spread of the pandemic.

Forgiving commercial and personal debt offers a solution.

It'd be cool if politicians could make that happen.
