I was wondering how younger generations would take to the special effects in the original
Star Wars Trilogy, and some friends were visiting with their kids a couple weeks ago. I noticed the boy (around 10 years old) playing in the water, and saying,
These aren't the droids you're looking for, playfully to himself. He was clearly super into the film, meaning the special effects have stood the test of time (in this instance anyways). I think that could explain why
Star Wars was so crazy popular when it came out, it was the first science-fiction-esque film with both a really good story and convincing special effects. 🌠
