After listening to Amy Winehouse's Frank and hearing that she suffered from a number of addictions, I figured that her songwriting talent lay within the possibility that she could not function without them, and, after equating that talent with that present upon albums such as Exile on Main St. and Ziggy Stardust, came to the conclusion that addictions can assist one in the composition of lyrics.
