I don't know if there's much of a market for humorous Canadian/American comparisons, apart from ye olde Talking to Americans and South Park's Terrance and Phillip, but if a show like Saturday Night Live was seeking to enlarge or create such a market, it need look no further than the iconic Family Feud. Could Steve Harvey be more American? Could Gerry Dee be more Canadian? Honestly, there's nothing that American or Canadian about them, but when one hosts the American Family Feud, and the other its spinoff in Canada, national comparisons irresistibly arise, and could lead to comedic gold!
